Walk Notice Saturday 14th June

Time: Meet at 12 noon for lunch car parking is off Dawson Drive opposite Nettleton Park - Reference for the car park is page 59 k7 for meeting point 59 J7

Where: Meet at Nettleton Park Biodiversity area near the confluence of Back Creek and Gardiners Creek, at the back of Nettleton Park (walk across the oval to the biodiversity area).

Guide: (To be confirmed) Ruthie, founder of Back2Nettleton is going to meet us at the reserve / park at 12:30pm and tell you a bit about what’s been going on at Nettleton park for the past four years +. She will also give you an idea of what’s planned to happen in the future.

Walk: The walk will leave Nettleton Park heading to Denman Avenue along the walking path, to see the work that is proposed for that area also. From there we will see how people are feeling whether we walk on or return.

We will be stopping for Coffee on the return at The Glen Iris Pantry on Glen Iris Road.

Bring: Clothing according to the weather, drink bottle etc. A chair and any lightweight table for Nettleton park.

Toilets: There is a toilet at Nettleton Park it was in service the last time I looked. There is a toilet at Ferndale Park also The Glen Iris Pantry will have a toilet.

Meet our Walking Group

Ravin' Ramblers is a walking group which was initiated at St Oswald's and now encapsulates people from varied backgrounds who socialise with parishioners from St Oswald's.

The walks are open to all, and we encourage everyone to bring their friends along. Ranging from quite easy to more strenuous, most walks will accommodate all level of walkers, and we certainly aim to include anyone with an interest in walking, and the outdoors, to join us.

If you don’t fancy a walk at all, you can always join us for lunch!
