Illustrated talk about the history and antiquities of the Roman, Venetian and Ottoman empires and their dramatic impact across the centuries from Venice to Istanbul.

From the Roman Emperor Diocletian's huge palace in Split to the ancieent city of Ephesus, where St. John and Mary, mother of Jesus, lived into old age, ancient hisory unfolds.
